A workshop for teens only! 6th - 12th graders are welcome to sign up and unleash their creativity in this exciting 3 hour art class where they’ll learn the vibrant art of hand-painting fabric banners! Perfect for teens looking to explore their artistic side during February Vacation, this class combines painting techniques with textile design to create unique, colorful banners that are as expressive as they are beautiful.

Throughout the course, you’ll experiment with different colors, patterns, and themes to design and paint your own custom fabric banners. Whether you want to showcase a favorite quote, create an abstract design, or explore a personal artistic vision, you'll have the freedom to bring your ideas to life on fabric.

We’ll cover everything from selecting the right fabrics and colors to mastering the painting process. You'll also learn how to apply techniques like layering, shading, and stenciling to add depth and texture to your designs. By the end of the class, you'll have a one-of-a-kind banner to hang in your room, share with friends, or even give as a gift.

No prior art experience is needed—just bring your enthusiasm and passion for creativity! Whether you’re a beginner or already have some artistic skills, this class will give you the tools and guidance to create something truly special.
